Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic looking for a long-term career with excellent benefits and the opportunity to work in the field? We're seeking a skilled Field Service Mechanic to maintain and repair construction equipment supporting utility operations across Arkansas.
What You'll Do:
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment.
- Service diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Maintain equipment including Vermeer and Ditch Witch directional drills, excavators, cable plows, passenger trucks, and other utility construction equipment.
- Complete inspections, troubleshooting, service documentation, and field repairs.
- Perform occasional welding and fabrication (preferred).
Qualifications:
- 3 years of diesel engine and hydraulic repair experience (trade school may substitute for experience).
- Diesel mechanic trade school preferred.
- Experience servicing Vermeer and Ditch Witch utility construction equipment is strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, diesel engine, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- Willingness to travel throughout Arkansas as project needs require.

Schedule:
Monday–Thursday with some Fridays required, plus overtime and weekends as needed. Flexibility to travel to other project locations/states is required.
