Acres Grove Nature School, a certified wildlife habitat nestled among 2 acres of oak trees in Round Rock, Texas, is now hiring Montessori Guides!
We are looking for passionate, caregivers to join our growing team in the following classrooms:
Toddler Lead
Primary Assistant
Lower Elementary Assistant
Our campus curriculum focuses on nature, science, gardening, music, art, mathematics, language, cooking, social studies, and physical movement. Our OLE (outdoor learning environment) includes natural play structures, mud kitchens, art easels, and raised garden beds, blending the school into the surrounding landscape.
Our indoor classrooms reflect Montessori learning philosophies and invite both independent and imaginative play.
An ideal candidate is:
Montessori Certified, or with good understanding of Montessori Education Experienced in Early Childhood Education and Lesson Planning

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and ensuring the safety and well-being of every child in the classroom.
This role requires Monday - Friday attendance from 8:30 - 5:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that encourages children to express themselves.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
Skills
- Experience in preschool education or related fields such as nannying, babysitting, or caregiving.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support children's social interactions.
- First aid and CPR certification will be required to ensure the safety of all students.
- Ability to engage effectively with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children in a learning environment.
