Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Auto Detailer to join our team in providing exceptional vehicle cleaning and finishing services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive care, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role involves thorough cleaning, polishing, and detailing of vehicles to ensure they meet high standards of quality and appearance. Prior experience in car wash, detailing, or custodial work is a plus, along with strong customer service skills. The Auto Detailer will contribute to maintaining the reputation of our dealership or service center by delivering top-tier vehicle presentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of vehicles including washing, vacuuming, and interior detailing
- Conduct buffing, polishing, and waxing to enhance vehicle appearance
- Apply window tinting and other cosmetic enhancements as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored
- Interact professionally with customers, addressing any questions or concerns about the detailing process
- Follow safety protocols during all detailing procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with janitorial or custodial tasks as required to support overall facility cleanliness
- Drive vehicles within the lot or to designated areas for servicing or storage
Qualifications
- Prior experience in car wash, detailing, custodial, or janitorial work preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Knowledge of vehicle cleaning techniques including buffing, window tinting, and interior detailing
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting and bending
