Duties
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet every parent or child in a cheerful, upbeat and joyous manner
- Plan, organize, and implement "Learn through Play" Instructional Curriculum in a Christian learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfil their academic potential.
- Create age-appropriate lesson plans and incorporate handwriting, crafts, games, hands on activities, field trips and daily homework to support curriculum.
- Maintain a small group by monitoring the children's safety
- Must be able to lift, pull, push, or hold 20-30 pounds
- Establish classrooms rules and behavior procedures
- Enforce all student administration policies and state governing rules
- Report physical or developmental problems that may require further attention
- Update parent(s) via email, school app or telephone
- Serve meals and snacks in accordance with nutritional guidelines as well as recognizing and documenting allergies of each child
- Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the facility and all its parts (ie: bathrooms, classrooms, kitchen, etc.)

Required Qualifications and Experience
- High school education required
- Background check required
- 2 year of professional childcare experience (Preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification required
Preferred Qualifications And Experience
- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or Social Science.
- Comfortable working with 2 and or 3-year-old toddlers.
- Possess the ability to open and or close facilities periodically.
- Daycare Training Certificates
