Three Year Old Class Teacher

Summary

My Great Beginnings Learning Center is looking to hire two 3's teachers in order to meet the demands of our waiting list. We are very fortunate to have families that support and love our school and enjoy spreading the word of the great experiences their children have at My Great Beginnings. Being a childhood educator in our school, you will be able to make a profound impact in children's lives as well as touching families that have multiple children in our care. We pride ourselves in providing a well prepared and diverse curriculum in which our teachers can add their own twist so that they have the opportunity to tap into their own creative juices. Duties

• Organizes and provides developmentally appropriate early childhood learning experiences; adding their own personal creativity to the provided curriculum.
• Utilizes the provided curriculum to create activities and opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem solving appropriate to the developmental levels and learning styles of children.
• Supervises children in the classroom; provides a supportive and encouraging environment in which children can learn and practice appropriate and acceptable individual and group behaviors.
• Interacts with parents in a professional manner; maintains open and cooperative communication with parents and families, encouraging their involvement in the program and supporting the child's family relationships.
• Ability to provide activities for children that encourage healthy growth.
• Possesses strong classroom management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of peers in a diverse community.
• Ability to exercise control and maintain classroom discipline.
• Knowledge of applicable safety procedures.
• Ability to provide a loving, supportive and caring environment for children.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• Ability to clear a state background and fingerprint check.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification.
• 3 years of experience working with children in a classroom setting desirable, but we will train the right candidate.
• Caring and nurturing attitude towards children.
• Exemplary track record of punctuality and dependability.
