Summary
As a Camp Site Director, you will oversee the daily operation of our day summer camp for 100 children ages 3.5 – 10 years at Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon, VA. This role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and enriching camp experience. Key responsibilities include supervising 20 camp counselors, managing daily schedules and activities, ensuring compliance with county policies and safety procedures, and serving as the primary point of contact for families. The Site Director handles on-site problem-solving and fosters a positive, inclusive camp environment. Site Directors are responsible for communications with parents and Frying Pan Park County Staff.
Camp is from June to mid-August. Flexible schedule--full day and half day options. Training provided. Need a week or two off? We can work around most vacations! COMPETITIVE PAY!! Pay comensurate with experience.
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, have experience working with children (a degree in a child-related field preferred), strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage staff and logistics.
