Summary
Inside sales position, serving professional contractors, industrial and resale clients. Very diverse customer base and product offering of Industrial Grade Tools, Supplies, Safety products and related Accessories and Parts. Take Inbound calls, e-mails and some walk in customers.
Duties
Inside sales duties include taking inbound sales calls, responding to e-mails from customers, researching and quoting product as requested by customers. Sales person creates quotes and orders in our E.R.P. system, communicates with the customer via phone and/or e-mail. Also will work with our suppliers to gain necessary information such as pricing, availability and technical information in order to properly quote our customers. Sometimes places purchase orders with our vendors when product needs to be expedited. Inside sales also acts as a back up to retail counter sales as needed. Works with our outside sales team to serve their customers as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must be computer literate, know how to add and subtract and do basic math, and use a calculator. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, work on your feet many hours a day, and be able to go up and down stairs. Experience in our industry is preferred but not required. Must be at least High School or equivalent graduate and be able to read and write clearly. Good communication skills are necessary. Neat and groomed appearance at work necessary. Must posses mechanical aptitude.
