Duties
- Full-time with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and afterschoolers
- Plan and implement activities according to the South Carolina Early Learning Standards
- Develop rapport with families daily
- Team player: Demonstrate flexibility and the willingness to help other team members as needed
- Monthly curriculum theme shall be evident in your classroom through visual displays and student projects
- Display friendly demeanor, have a love for children, and strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment for children and parents
- Have at least 6 months experience in a licensed childcare facility, preferably with varying age groups
- Love children
- Be able to teach young children
- Have a warm and positive personality
- Have a flexible schedule to work any shift between 6:30am and 6:00pm (Monday - Friday)
- Strong knowledge of SC Childcare Licensing Minimum Standards
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a clean driving record
- Be willing to submit to a background check
- High School diploma or equivalent (minimum); preferably with Early Childhood coursework (EDU Certification or CDA)
- Speak fluent English
- Obtain and maintain state in-service training requirements
- Must be CPR and First Aid certified
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, and be able to see, hear, and respond to children's needs, including reaching high, stooping to the child's level, sitting on the floor and rising from the floor, and standing for long periods of time
