What You'll Do
- Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.
- Follow the approved menu and CACFP guidelines.
- Create menu and order food.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary.
- Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Receive and properly store food deliveries.
- Follow all food safety, health department, and licensing regulations.
- Prepare meals on schedule and work efficiently.
- Work with staff regarding food allergies or special dietary needs.
- Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Must pass required background checks.
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
