ACPLM, Inc. is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators with a strong background in land clearing, excavation, grading, and site work.
The ideal candidate is a dependable, safety conscious operator who can safely and efficiently operate multiple types of heavy equipment and work as part of a construction crew.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
- Clear trees, brush, debris, and other obstacles for site preparation.
- Perform excavation, grading, spreading, and site development work.
- Follow site plans, grade requirements, and project instructions.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance as required.
- Work safely around employees, trucks, utilities, and other equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
- Follow company safety procedures and applicable OSHA requirements.
- Work with the Superintendent, Foreman, and crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in land clearing and/or site work.
- Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, and site preparation.
- Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment.
- Ability to read and follow site plans and instructions.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe equipment operation.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a construction crew.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
