What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Support Specialist position at ACPE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION?
Position is part-time and unbenefited; may work into a full-time position with benefits depending on the right fit.
As a Business Support Specialist, you’ll provided cross-department support – from teller transactions to loan processing, from compliance checks to client onboarding – ensuring smooth operations and continuity across the institution. Your flexibility will help us maintain high service standards even during peak times, staff absences, or special projects.
What you’ll do
- Step into various operational roles as needed, including teller services, account opening, loan documentation, and member service.
- Support compliance and audit functions by reviewing documentation, verifying transactions, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
- Assist with back-office operations such as payment processing, reconciliations, and data entry.
- Provide coverage for team members during vacations, training, or unexpected absences
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure seamless client experiences and operational efficiency
- Participate in special projects, system upgrades and process improvement initiatives.
What you will bring
- Broad knowledge of banking or financial services operations, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- Strong member service skills and a professional, approachable demeanor
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions and documentation
- Adaptability and a positive attitude when shifting between tasks or departments.
- Proficiency with core banking systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communications tools
- Prior experience in at least one area of financial services. Cross-training experience is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
