Hourly: $22-32/hour depending on experience!
We are a fast-growing medical practice seeking a high-performing Front Desk Medical Assistant (MA) who is confident in both patient interaction and insurance processes. This is a key role for someone who understands how to balance clinical support, front desk operations, and revenue cycle tasks.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome and check in patients; deliver a professional, high-touch experience
- Verify insurance eligibility, collect payments, and schedule appointments
- Manage and submit prior authorizations (PAs) for medications and treatments
- Assist with insurance billing, claims, and follow-ups
- Room patients, obtain vitals, and support providers as needed
- Educate patients on services, treatment plans, and costs
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
What You Must Have
- ✅ Medical Assistant (MA) experience
- ✅ Strong knowledge of insurance billing and prior authorization processes
- ✅ Excellent people skills / patient communication
- ✅ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- ✅ Social Media Experience
Big Plus (Preferred)
- Sales or customer service background (comfortable discussing services and converting patients)-bonuses based on conversions.
- Lead follow up and bookings
- Experience in primary care, hormone therapy, or wellness clinics
- Familiarity with EMR systems
