What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Coordinator position at ACORN Food Hub?
The ACORN Food Hub in Middlebury is hiring a part-time Warehouse Coordinator.
The Warehouse Coordinator collaborates with the ACORN Food Hub team to successfully implement operations, increase efficiency and productivity, and deliver to customers across the Champlain Valley.
The Coordinator helps maintain the warehouse facility, van, and equipment infrastructure, food safety standards, quality management programs, and wholesale order fulfillment.
This part-time position (~15 hours/week) works with the ACORN Food Hub team to enhance systems for increased efficiency, quality, and safety in all aspects of the program. This position assists in inventory management, product receiving, order fulfillment and delivery, and logistics planning.
This is a part-time, in-person position based out of Middlebury. Special consideration will be given to candidates within a 1-hour driving distance of Middlebury.
This is a year-round position, but we will consider applicants that are able to work during the summer season.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and the position is open until filled. Ideally, we can start in May, but will consider later start dates for qualified applicants.
