We are seeking a Shipper/Receiver to become an integral part of our team! You will help coordinate incoming and outgoing shipment activities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare product for shipping, install straps, braces, and padding to prevent damage during shipment
- Schedule shipments with freight carriers to ensure product is shipped on time
- Load trucks and ensure even distribution of weight
- Receive product and enter into inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Dependable
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Reliable transportation
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer skills
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields a plus
