What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipper/Receiver position at Mack Molding?
Mack Molding is seeking a Shipper/Receiver for the Cavendish, Vermont Plant.
The Shipper/Receiver will:
Organize and conduct movement of product, work-in-process, finished goods, and materials for maximum efficiency, wrap product for shipment, operate material handling equipment, such as hand jacks and motorized fork lifts, move palletized material with hand or motorized fork trucks including loading/unloading trucks and moving material within the plant.- This position has administrative responsibilities also, including maintaining accurate records of material transfers from work-in-process to finished goods, operating scales accurately, using computer skills to produce various shipping/receiving reports, prepare packing slips, bills of lading. Arranges orders and communicates with transportation suppliers regarding shipping and receiving of goods, ensures communication/information flow between departments and shifts is maintained and effective, uses the computer system to accurately and effectively track inventory transactions and coordinates shipping/receiving functions
Qualifications include previous similar experience; HS diploma or GED; working knowledge of Mack Molding Company’s manufacturing environment and material flow; ability to use computers; HS reading and math and skills or equivalent; inventory tracking / organization skills; able to work flexible work schedules/OT.
