ACME operates a 16,000 square foot facility equipped with advanced Fuji assembly lines and is lead-free (Pb-free) soldering ready. The team supports services from product design through box build, including SMT, mixed technology PCB assembly, BGA assembly with X-ray inspection, cable and wire harness assembly, and flex circuit board assembly.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assembler role based in Carson, CA. The Assembler will build and assemble printed circuit boards and related electronic products using surface mount and through-hole components, following work instructions, assembly drawings, and IPC standards. Daily tasks include placing and soldering components, operating or supporting automated assembly equipment, inspecting work for defects, and performing basic rework or touch-up as needed. The role involves handling materials, kitting parts, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and accurately documenting work performed. The Assembler will collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work with small components and tools for extended periods.
- Capability to follow standardized procedures, meet production targets, and maintain quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly is preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move materials safely, and comply with ESD and safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse production team.
