Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Aerospace Assembler to support structural component manufacturing in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This role works in a team setting and supports multiple assembly projects daily while maintaining strict quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
Support simultaneous completion of assembly tasks with minimal oversight
Maintain strict FOD, 6S, and material traceability compliance in accordance with AS9100 standards
Perform basic riveting, fastener installation, Cleco use, match drilling, and jig work per engineering requirements
Install small to medium bushings using liquid nitrogen cooling methods
Install helicoils and similar inserts to customer specifications
Apply Click Bond products, nut plates, and studs
Perform sealant application for corrosion prevention and dissimilar metal protection
Mark parts per engineering requirements and MIL-STD-130 using approved methods
Complete approved touch-up applications including Alodine, primer, top coat, and sealant
Operate conventional equipment such as Bridgeport machines and support honing, roller swaging, staking, precision boring, lathe turning, fitting installation, grinding, and media blasting as required
Apply masking to protect part finishes
Use calibrated instruments including torque wrenches, pressure gauges, gap gauges, calipers, and ohm meters
Perform saw cutting of materials when necessary
Follow internal documentation and job travelers to ensure proper ERP logging and compliance
Qualifications
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required
Technical degree preferred
Skills and Knowledge
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to operate power and pneumatic tools
Basic computer proficiency including Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel
Working knowledge of AS9100 quality systems preferred
Understanding of counterfeit parts prevention and ITAR compliance preferred
Familiarity with aerospace assembly and CNC manufacturing environments
High ethical standards with a commitment to aerospace product integrity
Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
Physical Requirements
Stand for 4 to 8 hours per day
Frequently grasp, handle tools, and use hands and arms
Occasionally walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch
Lift up to 25 to 40 pounds as needed
Ability to maintain close vision, depth perception, and focus
Work Environment
Exposure to moving mechanical parts
Moderate to loud noise levels
Occasional exposure to airborne particles
Frequent use of hand and pneumatic tools
This position requires access to export-controlled technical data subject to US export control laws (including ITAR)
