Acme is a successful, family owned company for over 80 years! We seek a Driver who is reliable, safe and has a friendly, customer-service attitude.
Job Duties Include:
- Drive company vehicles in a safe, responsible and legal manner.
- Deliver products to scheduled customers within the defined time window.
- Load and unload trucks, at the Acme warehouse and at customer sites.
- Report to supervisor any shortages or issues of a delivery.
- Safely and properly operate electric pallet jack, fork lift, lift gate on truck, hand truck or other equipment.
- Interact with customer’s personnel in a courteous, respectful and cooperative manner.
- Represent the company in a positive and safe manner to customers and the public.
Schedule: Monday -Friday, days
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Minimum of one year experience driving a box truck (or larger vehicle).
- Experience operating a pallet jack and fork lift.
- Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Job also includes bending, reaching, stooping, climbing stairs, kneeling, walking, standing, sitting/driving for short and longer periods.
