What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fence Installer position at ACME FENCE?
Work with your hands in the great outdoors, while enjoying new scenery every day. Installing fences is easy to learn and we will train you.
Duties (Include but are not limited to):
- Load and unload supplies on trucks in preparation for work day
- Follow directions from crew leaders while developing skill sets
- Install various types of fences, including wood, aluminum vinyl, and chain-link
- Measure and mark fence lines to ensure accurate installation
- Dig post holes and set posts securely in the ground
- Mix and pour concrete
- Attach fence panels or pickets to posts using appropriate hardware
- Cut and shape materials as needed to fit specific dimensions
- Repair or replace damaged sections of existing fences
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Skills:
- Maintain a positive can-do attitude at all times
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles during installation process
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members
Note: Prior experience as a fence installer is not required. Training will be provided for candidates with relevant skills and a strong work ethic.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
