What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Line Cook/Prep Cook position at Acme Diner?
The Acme Diner- located 25 miles east of Bellingham- is seeking a full time Cook Position. The Acme Diner is a quaint family run business located in Acme, WA on the side of Highway 9. Our menu consists of Diner classics and Breakfast/Dinner Specials scratch made every day. Experience is a must. Must be 21 to apply.
This position consists of but is not limited to the following:
- Prepares, cooks and presents food to order following established company standards guidelines and recipe specifications
- Follows correct prepping procedures, utilizing prep charts; properly stores and rotates perishable stock
- Maintains proper foods temperatures in accordance with Federal, State and local regulation
- Maintains stock to shift par levels
- Organized and maintains work areas, coolers and storage areas
- Cleans and takes proper care of ranges, oven, broilers, fryers, griddles, utensils and other equipment
- Adheres to all safe food handling principles
- Completes side work and deep cleaning assignments correctly and in a timely manner
Wages/Benefits:
- Hourly wage- Depends on experience and will be negotiated at time of hire
- Tipped out daily.
- Benefit packages and Health Care are available for employees working Full Time after the first 60 Days of employment.
The following are required to apply:
- Prior experience is required
- WA State Food Worker Card
