Position Overview/Job Summary:
The Sales Representative- Packaging is a motivated, results-oriented professional responsible for driving growth in packaging solutions, with preference given to candidates experienced in Bulk Bags and FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) products. This role will leverage Acme Bag Company’s capabilities to expand sales within the agriculture and food industries while ensuring financial targets are met and customer expectations exceeded. The Sales Representative will develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and align tactics to win key accounts. This candidate will coordinate across teams to optimize resources, drive revenue, and deliver exceptional customer service. Success in this role requires a results-driven, collaborative professional who can translate market insights into actionable strategies and sustainable business growth.
Essential Job Functions:
· Partner closely with Company Leadership to develop, implement, and execute strategic sales objectives, trade plans, and distribution initiatives focused on driving growth of Bulk Bags, including FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) Bags and allied packaging solutions across targeted markets.
· Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, including promotional programs, pricing initiatives, and customer engagement plans designed to achieve revenue, volume, margin, and profitability goals.
· Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and customer events to strengthen brand presence, generate leads, cultivate relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
· Proactively expand and manage a growing customer base by identifying prospects, conducting sales outreach, delivering compelling product presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing new business.
· Conduct ongoing market, customer, and competitive analysis to identify trends, pricing dynamics, product gaps, and emerging opportunities, using findings to refine sales strategies and improve performance.
· Leverage data, insights, and reporting tools to develop strategic account plans, sales presentations, business reviews, and opportunity analyses that support informed decision-making and revenue growth.
· Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with internal teams—including leadership, procurement, operations, and logistics—as well as external partners and suppliers to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
· Maintain strong execution discipline by ensuring attention to detail, timely follow-through on commitments, and proactive follow-up with customers and internal stakeholders.
· Collaborate with USA and India Procurement teams to develop and customize customer product platforms, ensuring specifications, quality standards, pricing structures, and supply chain requirements are met.
· Utilize CRM and sales management software to manage customer relationships, track pipeline activity, monitor sales performance, forecast demand, and analyze key performance metrics.
· Contribute to annual forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes by providing accurate sales projections, market intelligence, and revenue analysis.

Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% across the United States.
- Minimum of 10 years of revenue development experience in the packaging industry, with strong preference for experience in Bulk Bags and FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) bags.
- Deep understanding of the sales ecosystem, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in relevant customer segments.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth by identifying opportunities, understanding the market value chain, leading projects, and building long-term customer relationships. Demonstrates high energy, motivation, perseverance, and passion to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Experience selling to both large and small accounts, with proficiency across all phases of the sales process, including opportunity identification, qualification, solution scoping, client relationship management, and deal closing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve strategic and functional challenges, negotiate effectively, and foster a positive workplace environment.

Physical Requirements
· Must be able to travel (up to 30%) including driving, flights, and overnight stays to visit customer accounts
· Ability to spend long hours on the road or in customer meetings.
· Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods during travel and customer visits.
· Ability to lift or carry up to 35 lbs. occasionally (e.g., samples, promotional materials, product literature).
· Must have the visual and auditory ability to communicate effectively in person and via phone or video conferencing.
· Capable of operating a personal or company-provided vehicle safely.
· Comfortable with occasional walking or moving around warehouses, production facilities, or trade shows as part of customer visits.
