Title: Device Test Technician
Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Type: Contract
We are seeking a Handset Test Engineer / Technician to support 5G/4G/3G handset testing in both field and lab environments. This role includes drive testing, executing test plans, and debugging basic device, Android OS, and OTA/network issues. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on-site, collaborating with team members, and clearly documenting test results.
Responsibilities:
- Execute handset test plans and accurately document results
- Perform field and lab testing, including drive testing
- Debug and troubleshoot basic device, OTA, and network issues
- Assist with test equipment setup, calibration, and maintenance
- Communicate test progress, issues, and timelines with the team
Required Skills:
- Experience in handset testing on commercial devices
- Knowledge of 5G/4G/3G technologies
- Familiarity with Android OS testing and debugging
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license (field testing requires driving)
