We’re looking for a high-impact Dispatch Manager to lead our growing team of dispatchers and drive operational excellence across our service business. You’ll take the wheel on core dispatching operations: scheduling, work order closeout, invoicing, reporting, and process discipline — building structure where there isn’t any and coaching up a team that’s ready to level up. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves solving problems, implementing systems, and helping a fast-moving trades business scale to the next level.

Position Overview
We’re looking for a high-impact Dispatch Manager to lead our growing team of dispatchers and drive operational excellence across our service business. You’ll take the wheel on core dispatching operations: scheduling, work order closeout, invoicing, reporting, and process discipline — building structure where there isn’t any and coaching up a team that’s ready to level up. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves solving problems, implementing systems, and helping a fast-moving trades business scale to the next level.
Primary Responsibilities
- Technician dispatch and daily workflow
- Work order tracking and invoicing
- SOP creation and team training
- Platform optimization (ServiceTitan / Sage Field Ops / BuildOps)
- Team leadership and future dispatch hiring
- Performance reporting (utilization, job status, quote pipeline)
Qualifications
- Experience dispatching 25-75 techs in fast-paced environment (or overseeing a similar operation in another context -- e.g., call centers)
- Hands-on experience with field service management software (ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, etc.)
- Proven success driving work order closeout and AR
- Strong organizational skills and process building experience
- Able to lead and coach other dispatchers
- Experience in Plumbing, HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical ideal
- Culture fit: Cool under pressure, organized, process-oriented, loves helping techs succeed
Proficiencies
- Highly organized and analytically minded, with a strong ability to set priorities and track execution
- Proficient in spreadsheets and GSuite/Office
- Strong written/verbal communicator who can influence across levels and functions
- Comfortable being hands-on while also zooming out to help shape broader strategy
