Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions using detailed knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to develop effective care plans.
- Deliver targeted physiotherapy interventions such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics techniques, and rehabilitation exercises tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Coordinate discharge planning and transition care strategies to ensure seamless recovery at home or in community settings.
- Manage a diverse caseload.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient progress accurately and maintain comprehensive treatment records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care plans and ensure adherence to best practices in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, physiotherapy techniques, and self-care strategies to promote long-term wellness.
Experience
- Proven experience or willingness to learn in Neurological Rehab.
- Hands-on experience in outpatient clinics.
- Knowledge of EMR systems for efficient documentation and communication within healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated ability to develop individualized care plans incorporating discharge planning, trigger point therapy, and physiotherapy modalities.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology principles, and their application in patient treatment.
