Lead Painter

ACI Coatings has been in business for 30 years and is the largest painting contractor in Eastern Washington and North Idaho. We currently employee 60 painters and are running 25 crews, completing commercial and residential work all over the region.

ACI Coatings has expanded from Spokane and North Idaho into Central Washington and is looking for an experienced painter to join the new Richland Branch as a Lead Painter. This person will be working closely with the Branch Manager to complete mostly residential painting projects, both interior and exterior, and develop additional crew members as the business grows.

We are looking for someone with 5-10 years of painting experience, working on interiors and exteriors of residential homes, high end custom builds, and commercial buildings. Airless Pump efficiency is required for all our lead painters. We are looking for someone with experience managing multiple other employees and keeping a organized and well planned schedule to ensure all deadlines are hit.

Advertised wage range is a starting point. ACI offers overtime, bonus pay, profit sharing and an extremely valuable benefits package.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE & DAILY DELIVERABLES

• TOOLS: Be highly effective & efficient with an airless sprayer, sanders, drills & other various tools.
• COATINGS: Know the right product for the right job. Understand the basics of color therapy & have an advanced knowledge of all primers, Int/Ext paints & stains, & all basic base types.
• SPRAYERS: Advanced knowledge of sprayers & basic equipment repair & maintenance.

ACI QUALITY

• PREP: Set up all job sites with necessary equipment & supplies & do so, quickly & routinely.
• JOB BREAKDOWN: Thorough clean the job site & break down a sprayer to the ball.
• MARKET SEGMENT EXPERT: Residential Repairs, Small Commercial & Small Industrial
• APPLICATION: Cut & roll 300 sq-ft/hour, brush & roll doors, roll high gloss smooth wall, spray & back-roll interior, properly trim out exterior, basics of spraying an interior, basics of log home chinking & staining, advanced Int/Ext stain techniques, & paint & stain fiberglass doors.
