Job Description
- Licensed RPLS in Texas (Required).
- Conduct physical site surveys using a variety of equipment and tools.
- Prepare sketches and notes, and perform electronic data collection.
- Coordinate field staff and process field data.
- Interface with civil engineers.
- Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
- Calculate areas of land parcels and easements using mathematics and computer software.
- Research previous survey evidence, including maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys.
- Prepare site surveying documents and present findings to clients.
- Interact professionally with client representative and land owners
- Read and interpret construction drawings/specifications and understand all aspects of the project specifications and tolerances
- Maintain vehicle and field equipment
- 5 years of industry experience, prior crew chief experience is preferred
- Competent operating Trimble total stations, GNSS receivers, data collectors, and tablet PCs
- Experience with Trimble equipment is preferred
- Strong computer and technical skills
- Strong communication skills (listening, writing and verbal)
- Proven work history, strong work ethic, and team-player attitude
- Ability to travel if needed, not normal
- Valid driver's license, clean background check and drug screening
