We are seeking a Project Manager to join a well-established South Carolina-based general contractor with over 75 years of experience delivering high-quality construction projects throughout the Carolinas.
This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of projects including municipal, educational, streetscape, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and recreational developments. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Oversee schedules, budgets, cost control, and project execution.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
- Monitor progress and resolve schedule, budget, quality, and safety issues.
- Communicate with owners, architects, engineers, and municipalities.
- Manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Track project financials and oversee project closeout.
Qualifications
- Preferably 3> years of Project Management experience in commercial, municipal, educational, civil, infrastructure, or general construction.
- Experience managing projects from start to finish, including schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, and contracts.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout North and South Carolina.
Compensation: Salary $80,000-$120,000 based on experience, two weeks of paid vacation, vehicle allowance, mobile phone allowance, and a bonus program.
