Behavior Technician
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with skill acquisition, including communication, social skills, and daily living skills
- Support clients in community outings and activities
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and modify behavior plans as needed
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans accurately
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations
Note: This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Training will be provided.
