Direct Support Professional

NCI Affiliates and Achievement House, Inc. are local, non-profit organizations with a history of serving individuals with developmental disabilities. For over 70 years, we have been serving the community with a focus on promoting independence and inclusion through vocational training, education, adaptive living skills programs, advocacy, and community living services. We are currently seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team, to teach essential life skills and support individuals in achieving their personal and professional goals.

Qualifications:

• Must have own vehicle (driving required) and maintain a current California drivers license.
• Must provide on-going proof of current state required auto insurance.
• Must clear fingerprints through the California Department of Justice and the FBI.
• A high school education or equivalent.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Computer and Technology skills/knowledge.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Essential functions of this position require that employees regularly sit, stand, bend, twist and walk.
• Employees may occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 lbs.

Offered compensation: $23/hr - $25/hr
