Achieve Credit Union anticipates opening a new branch location in Avon in the first quarter of 2027. This role is intended to help prepare the selected candidate for potential advancement into a Branch Manager position at that location. Advancement opportunities will be based on individual performance, readiness, and business needs at the time of opening.
While serving in the role of Assistant Branch Manager, you will support the branch manager in managing staff, driving sales initiatives, and maintaining a welcoming environment that promotes member satisfaction and community trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to branch staff to drive performance and professional growth
- Promote a culture of Integrity, Respect, Professionalism, and Service Excellence
- Ensure exceptional member service experiences and resolution of complex member concerns
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management
- Monitor branch performance metrics and support achievement of goals
- Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Act as a leader in the Branch Manager’s absence
Qualifications
- Prior experience in banking or credit union operations required
- Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of branch operations, member service, and financial products
- Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality service and fostering a positive team environment
Pay: $56,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
