Position Summary
The Production Direct Support Professional at Achieva Pallets and Packaging in Bridgeville trains team members on a discrete range of task assignments in accordance with the implementation strategies outlined in their Individual Support Plans (ISP) and related production plans and schedules. This role actively supports the personal outcomes of individuals while assisting with job setups, productivity tracking, machine operation (once trained), and daily reporting. Reports directly to the Plant Manager within the Employment Supports department.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports the achievement of individuals' personal outcomes.
- Implements the Individual Support Plan (ISP) by providing direct supervision and training support to assigned Team Members.
- Maintains all required ISP documents addressing task assignments and implementation strategies, reporting results daily to the Plant Manager.
- Implements production plans and schedules while adhering to delivery dates, quality standards, and target productivity levels.
- Assists in initial job set-up and the development of production standards as required.
- Compares actual workflow implementation to the proposed production plan daily, suggesting method or job set-up alterations when appropriate.
- Reports productivity data, behavioral changes, and equipment difficulties to leadership as assigned.
- Drives a forklift and safely operates other plant machinery once trained.
- Identifies and reports safety issues within the assigned task range.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in industry, manufacturing, or Human Services.
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards, production methods, and industrial tools.
- Ability to learn and safely operate a forklift and plant equipment.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
- Required clearances: Act 33 (Child Abuse), Act 34 (Criminal Record), and FBI Background Check.
