Role: Senior Technical Project Manager – Logistics & SCM
Contract: 6–12 Months
Onsite: Rocklin, CA / San Jose, CA / Memphis, TN
Overview
Seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead Logistics and Supply Chain technology initiatives including DC rollouts, Warehouse Management, Transportation, Final Mile, and Returns projects.
Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional logistics technology projects using Agile/SDLC methodologies
Manage schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication
Drive requirements and delivery for Manhattan WMOS and IBM Sterling (OMS/IMS)
Manage WMOS configuration vs. custom MODs and resolve design gaps
Oversee integrations with upstream/downstream systems (RMS, 3PLs, ProShip)
Manage microservices integrations, QA, and performance monitoring (AppDynamics)
Own project financials: budget, forecast, ROI, and vendor management
Lead vendors and internal teams to ensure on-time, quality delivery
Required Skills
10 years Project/Program Management experience
8 years Logistics, Supply Chain, or Retail IT experience
Strong knowledge of WMS (Manhattan preferred)
Experience with system integrations and microservices
Proficiency with JIRA, Rally, Agile tools
Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills
