Role - SAP IS Retail Consultant
Location - Marlboro, MA / Onsite
Contract - 6 months
Experience Level: 7 Years
Role Description
- Strong knowledge of SAP IS Retail processes
- Experience working with:
- Article Master Data
- Listing & Assortments
- Pricing procedures
- Retail procurement
- Integration knowledge with SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
- Basic ABAP debugging knowledge (preferred)
- Understanding of retail business including store operations, inventory management, and supply chain
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze retail business processes and translate them into SAP solutions
- Configure SAP IS Retail modules such as:
- Merchandise Management (MM)
- Pricing & Promotions
- Assortment Planning
- Work with integration points (e.g., SAP MM, SD, FICO)
- Support POS (Point of Sale) systems integration
- Handle master data (articles, sites, assortments)
- Perform testing (unit testing, UAT)
- Provide production support and resolve issues
- Work with business users to gather requirements and provide solutions
Required Skills
SAP IS Retail & Functional Expertise
- Strong knowledge of SAP IS Retail processes
- Experience with Article Master Data, Listing & Assortments, Pricing procedures, and Retail procurement Integration
- Knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management)
- Knowledge of SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
- Familiarity with integration points including FICO Technical Skills
- Basic ABAP debugging knowledge (preferred) Business & Domain Knowledge
- Understanding of retail business

Skills: SAP IS (Industrial Solution) Retail
