Odessa (LeaseWave) Technical Support / Configuration Engineer
Location: Coppell, TX – Onsite
Duration: 6 months
We are looking for an experienced Odessa (LeaseWave) Engineer with strong hands-on experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting the Odessa platform across Origination, Contracts, Billing, Assets, Accounting, and End-of-Term modules. The candidate will act as the technical SPOC for platform configuration, enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and production support within an AMS environment.
The role requires strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues related to lease lifecycle processing, billing anomalies, accounting postings, and system integrations. The candidate will work closely with functional consultants and development teams to translate business requirements into Odessa configurations and technical extensions while ensuring platform stability and adherence to client-specific business rules.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of IT experience with hands-on experience in Odessa (LeaseWave), particularly leasing, lending, or loan servicing modules.
- Strong understanding of lease/loan lifecycle, funding, billing, collections, and finance processes.
- Experience in auto finance, commercial finance, or captive finance environments.
- Strong SQL skills for data investigation, validation, and troubleshooting; experience with SQL Server or Oracle is preferred.
- Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and integration troubleshooting; experience with Postman is a plus.
- Experience supporting production environments and working with onshore/offshore distributed teams.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar incident/change management tools.
- Strong client-facing communication and ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced support environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Odessa Studio or Odessa Designer for workflows and business-rule configuration.
- Knowledge of OEM dealer programs, subsidy rates, floorplan, and commercial lease structures.
- Understanding of database schema, stored procedures, and query optimization.
- Basic scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or similar automation tools.
