Job Summary:
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities. This role involves hands-on support, behavior monitoring, and goal-oriented care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement ABA-based intervention plans under BCBA supervision
- Support daily living activities and skill development
- Monitor and document behaviors and progress towards treatment goals
- Submit session notes and maintain data collection per ISP
- Assist in household duties and ensure a safe living space
- Collaborate with families, PSI staff, and treatment team
- Administer and document medications as required
- Participate in required trainings and staff meetings
- Provide guidance and mentorship to PSI or DSP team members
Qualifications:
- Valid RBT Certification (REQUIRED)
- Valid CA Driver’s License (REQUIRED)
- 6–12 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Experience with ABA principles preferred
- Must receive ongoing supervision covering at least 5% of ABA service hours per month
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
