Operations Administrator

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Operations Administrator to join our team! Acer Exhibits & Events is a full-service Trade Show Exhibit House located in Havre de Grace, MD. We are seeking a dedicated Operations Administrator with knowledge of all warehouse and distribution functions to support the Logistics team, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven industry.

Primary job responsibilities include:

· Maintain inbound report to reflect current status of Acer projects.

· Enter and maintain the inventory of client product in Exhibit Force.

· Build and breakdown small Pop-up jobs.

· Responsible for the Picking and packing of all portal orders

· Respond to emails from Account managers and do research.

· Create barcodes for all client inventory, parts labels, and crate labels for warehouse.

· Ensure jobs being outbound are entered in Exhibit Force so warehouse can scan out items.

· Review drawings as needed.

· Provide Controller with new crates/skids for clients, to be added to our storage matrix.

· Every year remove old extra files from file cabinet and store in warehouse or throw out once electronic files are verified.

· Call Mid-Atlantic (or current service supplier) when forklifts break or need maintenance.

· Call Republic Services (or current service supplier) for dumpster and Dirt Express (or current service supplier) when drive in trailers need to be dumped and replaced.

· Contact Acer facilities vendors as needed – i.e. plumber, sprinkler, HVAC.

· Other tasks as identified and as needed within the Logistics department.

Secondary responsibilities include:

· Select exhibit components from existing inventory or stored exhibits as directed by the Logistics Lead and Logistics Manager and by using CAD drawings.

· Assemble and dismantle exhibits before and after trade shows using various power tools, ladders and lifts.

· Prepare by packing, inventorying, and barcoding, outbound shipments of trade show exhibits and properties to destination cities allowing for the timely and seamless set-up of client exhibits at trade shows.

· Attention to detail, to ensure that all components and parts of the exhibit are packed according to specifications to ensure proper set up and dismantle and to eliminate damage during shipping.

· Receive inbound shipments documenting components and parts received back from trade show. Document damages, make repair recommendations, and provide reports to the Account Manager.

· Attend project board meetings.

· Read and understand schematic (CAD) drawings are a plus but not required. Must possess the ability to write legibly.

· Ensure that the warehouse is clean and organized, at all times.

· Work well with others in a team environment and possess a positive attitude.

· Complete weekly timesheets with project details and tasks.

Requirements:

· Ability to operate a standard forklift and aerial lift, and become certified.

· Ability to use 16’ ladders and be elevated with mechanical lifts.

· Ability to climb ladders, stand, stoop, kneel or sit for extended periods of time.

· Lifting above the shoulders and head is required along with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

· Must be able and available to work overtime hours including Saturdays when necessary and perform other duties as assigned.

Typical Work Schedule:

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with .5-hour lunch and 1 morning break. The schedule will be revised to include overtime and weekends during critical heavy seasonal periods.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
