Job Overview:
Acer Exhibits & Events is a full-service Trade Show Exhibit House located in Havre de Grace, MD. We are seeking a dedicated Exhibit Staging Specialist with knowledge of all warehouse and distribution functions to support the Logistics/Operations team, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven industry.
Job responsibilities include:
· Select exhibit components from existing inventory or stored exhibits as directed by the Logistics Lead and Logistics Manager and by using CAD drawings.
· Assemble and dismantle exhibits before and after trade shows using various power tools, ladders and lifts.
· Prepare by packing, inventorying, and barcoding, outbound shipments of trade show exhibits and properties to destination cities allowing for the timely and seamless set-up of client exhibits at trade shows.
· Attention to detail, to ensure that all components and parts of the exhibit are packed according to specifications to ensure proper set up and dismantle and to eliminate damage during shipping.
· Receive inbound shipments documenting components and parts received back from trade show. Document damages, make repair recommendations, and provide reports to the Account Manager.
· Attend project launch and board meetings.
· Read and understand schematic (CAD) drawings are a plus but not required, must possess the ability to write legibly.
· Ensure that the warehouse is clean and organized at all times.
· Work well with others in a team environment and possess a positive attitude.
· Complete weekly timesheets with project detail and tasks.
Requirements:
· Ability to operate a standard forklift and aerial lift, and become certified.
· Ability to use 16’ ladders and be elevated with mechanical lifts.
· Ability to climb ladders, stand, stoop, kneel or sit for extended periods of time.
· Lifting above the shoulders and head is required along with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
· Must be able and available to work overtime hours including Saturdays when necessary and perform other duties as assigned.

Typical Work Schedule:
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with .5-hour lunch and 1 morning break. The schedule will be revised to include overtime and weekends during critical heavy seasonal periods.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
