Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong background in the travel industry to oversee sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations. The role requires strategic thinking, cost optimization, and effective stakeholder management to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
- Develop and maintain relationships with travel vendors (airlines, hotels, transport providers)
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure budget adherence
- Analyze procurement data and generate reports using Microsoft Office tools
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and deliver procurement solutions
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 8 years of procurement experience, preferably in the travel industry
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in travel procurement and global vendor management
- Strong understanding of contracts, SLAs, and compliance
- Ability to work onsite in Somerset
