What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Delivery Manager position at Aceolution?
About the Role We are seeking a Manager, Engineering Intake & Operations to own the intake, translation, and execution readiness of engineering requirements for prototype device–based biometric data collection programs. This role serves as the single point of contact (POC) between Engineering and Operations, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, documented, and operationalized at scale.
Success in this role means engineering intent is translated into clear, executable, and scalable operational processes that enable teams to launch efficiently, operate with high quality, and continuously improve.
Key Responsibilities & Outcomes
Engineering Intake & Requirements Ownership
● Serve as the primary POC for Engineering on all intake related to prototype devices–based biometric data collection.
● Lead structured intake discussions to define requirements, constraints, dependencies, timelines, and success metrics.
● Ensure intake requirements are complete and stable, minimizing late-stage changes and rework.
● Outcome: Engineering requirements are consistently captured with clarity, resulting in fewer clarification cycles and escalations.
Documentation, Content, and Enablement
● Own creation of high-quality documentation, including operational requirements, data collection protocols, SOPs, execution playbooks, and training materials.
● Ensure content is clear, repeatable, and suitable for large-scale execution by Operations teams.
● Continuously improve documentation based on operational feedback and execution performance.
● Outcome: Operations teams are launch-ready with minimal post-launch issues tied to documentation or training gaps.
Operational Strategy & Scalable Execution
● Design and implement operational strategies to execute engineering requirements at scale.
● Partner with Operations Managers to define workflows, capacity models, quality controls, and escalation paths.
● Identify execution risks early and drive mitigation plans prior to launch.
● Outcome: Programs launch on schedule and scale efficiently while maintaining quality, compliance, and consistency.
Program Launch & Execution Readiness
● Support launch planning and early execution phases of new programs.
● Monitor execution readiness and address gaps in process, tooling, or training.
● Establish mechanisms to track execution health and quality.
● Outcome: Reduced time-to-launch and fewer post-launch escalations related to process or readiness gaps.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
● Drive alignment across Engineering, Product, Legal, Privacy, and Operations teams.
● Communicate clearly and proactively to enable informed decision-making.
● Act as a trusted partner, influencing outcomes without direct authority.
● Outcome: Stakeholders demonstrate strong alignment and trust, with fewer late-stage escalations due to misalignment.
Process Improvement & Operational Mechanisms
● Establish feedback loops, retrospectives, and measurable mechanisms to improve intake and execution processes.
● Build reusable templates, playbooks, and review structures that scale across programs.
● Outcome: Intake and execution processes improve quarter over quarter, with measurable gains in efficiency and quality.
Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
● 5 years of experience in operations management, technical program management, engineering operations, or related roles
● Experience working with prototype hardware, devices, or early-stage technologies
● Demonstrated ability to translate technical requirements into scalable operational processes
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Experience driving cross-functional execution in ambiguous environments
Preferred Qualifications
● Graduate degree or certifications in hardware, electronics, or related technical fields
● Experience supporting biometric data collection, sensor-based systems, or device-driven research programs
● Experience creating training and enablement content for large, distributed teams
● Familiarity with data privacy, consent, and compliance considerations
