As a Floater, you’ll step into classrooms across age groups (infants, toddlers, and preschoolers) to provide consistent care, support teachers, and ensure every child has what they need to thrive. What You’ll Do As a Floater, you will: Support classrooms as needed, assisting teachers in maintaining a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. Help implement daily routines, including mealtimes, rest, play, and instructional activities. Engage with children in meaningful, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Assist with classroom management, transitions, and individual support for children. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff to create a strong sense of community. Step in wherever needed—including mealtime support, or transitions—to keep daily operations running smoothly. Who You Are We’re looking for someone who is: Caring, dependable, and flexible, able to adapt quickly to different classroom needs. Passionate about supporting children’s development and well-being. A strong team player, able to collaborate with teachers and staff. Reflective and growth-minded, with a willingness to learn. Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus! Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred). Pass a physical exam and background check. Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation required. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and actively engage with young children throughout the day.
