Scrap Yard Equipment Operator
Responsible for operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and forklifts to move and sort scrap. Duties include loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and efficient work area. Performs routine equipment inspections, follows all safety protocols, and assists with general yard operations as needed. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
Non-Ferrous Materials Handler / Worker
Responsible for sorting, processing, and handling non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, and stainless steel. Duties include identifying materials by type and grade, separating and preparing metals for recycling or resale, operating basic equipment (e.g., scales, shears, or forklifts), and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Must follow safety procedures, work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and ensure accurate material classification to maximize value.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
