Electrician II
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM | Rotating weekend/on-call coverage | OT expected
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical equipment in production operations
- Work with motors, sheaves/belts, conduit, wiring, ESP equipment, control panels, and grounding systems
- Use hot sticks to change line fuses and reset reclosers
- Perform underground cable splicing and install POCs
- Respond to electrical issues and 24-hour call-outs as needed
- Maintain and properly stock company vehicle
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of electrical experience
- High school diploma/GED
- Oil & gas electrical experience and knowledge of applicable codes
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems independently
- Must participate in rotating weekend/on-call coverage
- Utility-bed truck required
Required Certifications/PPE
- PEC Safeland Certification (within 6 months)
- ANSI Z390.1-2017 instructor-led H2S training
- Electrical tools, hot stick, high-voltage gloves, FR clothing, and required safety PPE
