This position can be located in any of the following Ace markets: Seattle, Austin/San Antonio, San Diego, Orlando, or Cleveland.

Position Summary: Reporting to the President, the VP of Sales, Logistics Services is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the logistics services sales channel for Ace and ARCA, achieving annual logistics services revenue and sales objectives for both companies, and growing their own book of logistics services business.

Priorities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive logistics services (including commercial moving, warehousing, transportation, logistics services) business development strategy aligned with Ace and ARCA’s objectives to achieve revenue and market share growth and diversification.
  • Define and implement tactical plans to achieve sales objectives for the logistics services channel in targeted industries, including healthcare, and hospitality.
  • Build and manage a high-performing logistics services business development team, including recruiting, hiring, training, mentoring and coaching members of the logistics sales team.
  • Monitor logistics services sales performance reports and key performance indicators to ensure appropriate resource allocation and effectiveness of logistics services sales strategy, adapting as required to achieve sales objectives.
  • Provide strategic oversight in the development of responses to RFPS, ensuring Ace & ARCA’s value propositions are effectively communicated.
  • Understand logistics services and commercial moving market landscape and trends, ensuring Ace & ARCA’s service offerings are relevant and priced appropriately.
  • Set the marketing strategy and priorities for Ace and ARCA, leveraging the external marketing consultant for strategy execution.
  • Provide regular reports to the senior leadership team highlighting key performance metrics and progress toward logistics services revenue growth goals.

The pay range is $150,000 - $175,000 base salary plus additional incentives. Starting pay is based on criteria such as location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable agreement. Dependent on the length of service, hours worked, and applicable agreements, benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and optional disability insurance, sick pay of 2.66 hours for every 80 hours worked, flexible time off, paid holidays, bereavement pay and retirement benefits. The VP of Sales position is considered safety sensitive and will be subject to the company's random drug test program.

Technology Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook, and CRM systems such as Hubspot.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with the ability to create formula, charts, graphs, and pivot tables.
  • Ability to learn and function as necessary with proprietary ERP system.
  • Ability to effectively utilize customer relationship management systems, preferably HubSpot.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): The following are required to enable job holders to perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or sales management.
  • 10 years sales management experience building, training, and nurturing teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Deep industry knowledge and an extensive network of industry contacts strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including data and financial analysis to support effective decision-making and prioritization.
  • Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills
  • Willingness to travel as required to establish and maintain business relationships.
