Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Unarmed Security Guard to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in law enforcement or retail security experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the facility
- Monitor surveillance cameras to detect any suspicious activities
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, observations, and incidents
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property
Skills:
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
- Strong understanding of conflict management principles
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and strong observation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Prior military or law enforcement experience is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Guard Card (unarmed)
- 1 year of security experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
