Start Now. Play Forever. Ace Pickleball Club, LLC (APC) is a fast-growing indoor pickleball franchise. Each club features between 8-16 courts in a climate-controlled environment. Using on-court technology for instant replay and live streaming to provide the ultimate pickleball playing experience. Our mission is to expand the sport of pickleball by inspiring new players and providing enthusiasts of all skill levels access to a welcoming community, optimal playing conditions, and opportunities for growth. Members of all ages and skill levels can visit the Ace Pickleball Club location to participate in a variety of activities including daily open play, clinics, leagues, tournaments, social and glow-in-the-dark events. The General Manager of APC must be driven, a great communicator, highly service orientated and bring flexibility, leadership and technical knowledge to the Team. This person leads by example, fosters a culture of teamwork and can motivate the Team. They inherently place value on knowing people’s names and making friends without trying. They build a community and foster an optimal pickleball playing experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your Members
- Take great care of our Members through active hospitality and leading by example for your Team.
- A leader in being genuinely friendly and passionate about Guest service. General Managers not only satisfy Member and Team requests, but also anticipate their needs.
- Receive and welcome feedback from Members to determine an appropriate action plan, if needed. This also includes oversight of membership cancellation trends.
- Oversee local marketing, lead generation and Member inquiry follow-ups.
- Manage promotional emails and monthly newsletters for our Members.
Your Team
- Responsible for the selection, development and retention of Team Members through genuine leadership skills.
- Ensure all Team Members are treated fairly, and with respect, build rapport with Team Members by fostering an environment of open communication and spending time with Team Members on the Club floor.
- Evaluate the Team, on a quarterly basis, to maintain active hospitality standards in the Club.
Your Club
- Manages the Point-of-Sale system, add and edit items, refine processes and use the reporting functionality to manage the business.
- Ensure financial targets are met and proper accounting procedures are being followed.
- Organize and facilitate corporate events, lead communication on pricing and court availability.
- Evaluate Team facilitation of scheduled programming (clinics and socials).
- Support and troubleshoot all technology in the club, including Pickleball Software, PlaySight cameras, A/V, glow-in-dark systems, and Office 365 applications.
- Ensure proper controls are in place to track revenue, payroll, inventories, and expenses.
- Create a safe, clean, well-maintained facility. Manage regular cleaning, inspection and maintenance schedules. Perform or coordinate necessary maintenance.
- Follow the required process for logging and reporting incidents.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous fitness, sport club or restaurant management experience
- Proven ability to bring new Members into the facility
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effectively builds strong relationships, leads and develops a Team
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Enthusiastic about pickleball and/or fitness
- Proven ability to manage multiple systems (POS, CRM, etc), and AV technology

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
