About Job
Assist with the development of youth athletes
Conduct one on one, small group or team training sessions
Educate youth athletes in performing speed, agility and strength movements necessary for sport performance
Coach group and team sessions as assigned by directing staff
Assist in the development and collaboration of performance programs for training
Assist with set up and break down of performance sessions
Schedule
Part-time schedule based on team training and group training schedule
Current team and group training schedule last until June and runs 4 pm - 8:30 pmopportunities to add personal training clients as well as adult group training
Expect to work less than 20 hours a weekJob RequirementsExperience working with athletes in the sports performance setting
Experience working in team or group setting
Background in exercise science or related fieldhave received or working towards a certification in the field of exercise science
Physical ability to perform movements associated with demonstrating for athletes as well as capable of lifting at least 45 lbs for setting up weight room
Excellent work ethic with ability to work in a fast pace ever changing athlete environment
Reliable transportation to be on time to every session assigned
Able to follow instructions well and complete job tasks without supervision
Job RequirementsHave previous experience and education in the field or sports performance or personal training
Have previous experience in coaching athletes
Great communication skills
Would prefer a certification in the strength and conditioning field
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.75 - $25.04 per hour
Work Location: In person
Salary : $19 - $25
