Draft industrial electrical control panels for custom automation projects.
ACE Controls is looking for an Electrical Controls Drafter to design industrial control panels. This is a hands‑on drafting position where your drawings move directly from AutoCAD Electrical to the shop floor.

What You Will Work On
- Draft industrial electrical control panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Develop and maintain drawings using AutoCAD Electrical
- Support custom automation and control panel projects from concept through fabrication
- Collaborate directly with controls engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams
- Ensure drawings meet NEC, UL, and UL 508A requirements
- Update drawings for system changes, upgrades, and customer revisions
What We Look For
- 2 years of experience in industrial electrical or control panel drafting
- Strong AutoCAD Electrical skills in a manufacturing or automation environment
- Working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, relays, breakers, and industrial components
- Understanding of electrical schematics, wiring standards, and compliance
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drafting priorities
Nice to Have
- UL 508A control panel drafting experience
- Background in water/wastewater, food & beverage, or industrial process equipment
- AutoCAD Electrical certification
