What You'll Do

As a Lead HVAC Installation Technician, you'll lead installation projects from start to finish while maintaining the high standards that have defined AccuTemp for more than four decades.

Responsibilities include:

1. Lead residential and commercial HVAC installation projects.

2. Install split systems, package units, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, rooftop units (RTUs), ductless mini-split systems, and related HVAC equipment.

3. Participate in commercial refrigeration installations, including walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, reach-in refrigeration, ice machines, and specialty refrigeration equipment.

4. Mentor, train, and develop apprentice installers.

5. Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and AccuTemp installation standards.

6. Perform equipment startups, commissioning, and operational testing.

7. Communicate professionally with customers, office staff, and fellow team members.

8. Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.

9. Complete installation documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 3 years of HVAC installation experience required.

2. Previous experience leading installation crews preferred.

3. Experience installing residential HVAC systems.

4. Commercial HVAC/R installation experience is a plus.

5. EPA Certification required.

6. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

7. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

8. Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

9. Ability to safely lift 75 pounds and work in attics, rooftops, and outdoor environments.
