We're looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to join our growing commercial service team.

What You'll Do

As a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, with a strong focus on restaurants and commercial kitchens.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Service walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, reach-in refrigeration, prep tables, undercounter refrigeration, and ice machines.
• Diagnose and repair rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, heat pumps, make-up air units, exhaust systems, and related controls.
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, airflow, controls, and system performance issues.
• Diagnose building pressure, air balance, and mechanical system interaction problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls.
• Participate in a rotating after-hours emergency on-call schedule (one week every four weeks) to support our commercial customers.
• Communicate professionally with restaurant managers and commercial customers.
• Complete service tickets, work orders, and required documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Represent AccuTemp with professionalism, integrity, and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC/R service experience
• Restaurant HVAC and refrigeration experience required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience servicing:

o Commercial refrigeration systems

o Walk-in coolers and freezers

o Reach-in refrigeration

o Ice machines

o Rooftop units (RTUs)

o Make-up air systems

o Exhaust and kitchen ventilation systems

• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, airflow, controls, and building pressure relationships
• Universal EPA Certification required
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
