The Low Voltage Foreman will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects, ensuring that all low voltage systems are installed according to plans, specifications, and industry standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor field technicians and installers
- Plan and coordinate daily work activities, manpower, and material logistics
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Oversee installation of low voltage systems including:
- Access control systems
- Video surveillance (CCTV)
- Intrusion detection systems
- Structured cabling infrastructure
- Ensure all work meets project requirements, codes, and Accutek quality standards
- Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or challenges
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
- Conduct site walkthroughs, inspections, and quality control checks
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines
- Track progress, document field changes, and communicate updates to management
- 5 years of experience in low voltage systems installation
- Minimum 2 years in a Foreman or lead role
- Strong working knowledge of security systems and structured cabling
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Experience working on commercial construction projects
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- OSHA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license
